Egg Curry is a very popular dish in the northern parts of India. However, after the descent of internet and social media, this has become popular world-over. Here's how you can prepare egg-curry.
The following quantity serves 3 people.
Ingredients:
1. Boiled Eggs - 6
2. Onions - 4 Medium sized
3. Tomato paste - 2 Medium sized
4. Ginger-Garlic paste-1 Tbsp
5. Chilly powder - 1 Tsp
6. Turmeric powder - 1Tsp
7. Garam Masala - 1Tsp
8. Salt to taste
9. Coriander leaves n green chillies
Preparation:
1. Heat 250ml oil in a pan and put eggs in it one by one.
Fry them until light brown and keep separately.
2. Cut Onions and fry them until they turn golden red.
3. Add salt to taste, add ginger-garlic paste,
turmeric powder, chilly powder and continue frying at low flame.
4. Once you see this masala getting brownish color, add
tomato paste and Garam Masala and then continue to fry them fry them at high flame
5. Add fried eggs to the pan with masala and gently mix
them, keeping the flame high all the while. Mix them for at least 2-3 mins and
then add approx 300 ml of water.
6. Let it cook for 5 minutes.
Egg curry is ready to be served. You can garnish it with
coriander leaves and green chillies.
