Dhaba Chicken

  Non-Veg Dhaba style chicken curry is perfect to satiate your chicken-curry cravings. It can be served with your favourite Indian bread or rice. Ingredients: Chicken – ½ kilograms Lemon juice – 2 tsp (remember to use fresh lemons only) Ginger-garlic paste – 2 tsp Onions (chopped) – 2 Ginger – 2-3 pieces Garlic – 8-9 cloves Green chillies – 5-6 Mustard oil – 3 tbsp Cumin seeds – 1 tsp Bay leaf – 1 Cinnamon stick – 1 small Black Cardamoms – 4 Peppercorns – 8 Cloves – 4 Tomatoes (chopped) – 4 Turmeric powder – 1 tsp Red chili – 1 tsp Coriander powder – 1 tsp Garam masala – 1 tsp Coriander leaves – 1 tsp Ghee – 2 tbsp Instructions: Marinate the chicken with salt, lemon and ginger garlic paste for around 30 minutes. Millet-greens Salad

  Non-VEG What I like about millet is that it almost tastes like semolina (cous) but it is entirely gluten free and a healthy whole grain. Ingredients: Cooked millet – 1 medium cup Boiled egg(s) cut to half – 2 Olive oil - 1 tbsp Cucumber (chopped) – 1 Onion (chopped – 1 Sprout – 1 medium cup Button mushroom (chopped) – 3-4 Black pepper powder – 1 tsp Salad dressing – 2 tbsp Coriander leaves (chopped) – 1 tbsp Green chillies (chopped) – 2 Salt – to taste Instructions: Heat Olive oil in a non-stick pan and sauté mushrooms for two minutes and then add rest of the vegetables. Add pepper power and salt. Stir it for five minutes. Now add cooked millets and mix them well. Take out the salad mixture in a bowl. Garnish it with boiled eggs, coriander leaves and salad dressing. Salad is ready to be served.

Cheesy Garlic Bread

VEG Easy and super cheesy garlic bread can be served as an accompaniment or as a dish all on its own! Ingredients : Bread slices (Any brand of your choice) Salted butter - 1/2 cup Olive oil - 1tbsp Fresh granulated garlic - 2tbsp Salt and pepper - 1tbsp Shredded mozzarella - 2cups Fresh parsley - 2tsp   Instructions : Preheat oven to 375. Slice bread in half length-wise. In a mixing bowl, stir butter, olive oil, and garlic, salt and pepper together. Spread mixture over bread halves. Top bread with shredded cheese and parsley. Bake the bread until the cheese turns golden and bubbly.   Wait a few minutes before slicing and serving this garlic bread. It’s best warm, but not straight from the oven!

Shrimp/Prawn fried rice

Non-Veg Shrimp/prawn fried rice is an Asian inspired dish. It’s a healthy and low in calories but big on flavour delicacy. Ingredients : Basmati Rice – 2 cups cooked Oil – 2 tbsp Garlic – 5 big cloves finely chopped Ginger – 1 tbsp finely chopped Green Chilli – 1 finely chopped Onion – 1 medium size finely chopped Capsicum / Green Bell Pepper – 1/2 chopped finely Scrambled egg - 2 Soy Sauce – 1 tsp or to taste Vinegar or Lemon Juice – 1 tsp or to taste Salt to taste Black Pepper Powder – 1 tsp or to taste Spring Onion – a handful finely chopped   For Marinating Prawns : Prawns – 12 medium size ones Salt to taste Chilli Powder – 1 tsp Vinegar or Lemon Juice – 1 tsp or to taste Soy Sauce – 1 tsp or to taste   Instructions : Take Prawns in a bowl. Non-Veg Chicken dumplings (momos) are a delicious and filled with juicy minced chicken. A special street food, found mostly in Darjeeling/Sikkim (India) and Tibet. Ingredients : For the dough : All Purpose Flour (Maida) - 2 cups Salt - to taste Baking powder-1 1/2tsp For the filling : Chicken - boiled and minced- 1 cup Green peas (Matar) - boiled- 1/2 cup Onions - finely chopped-1/2 cup Garlic - finely chopped- 1 tbsp Ginger - finely chopped- 1/2tbsp Soy sauce - 1/2 tbsp Salt to taste Red/green chillies - 1 or 2 Whole Black Peppercorns - 1/4tbsp crushed   Instructions : To make the dumpling outer shell add the refined flour, salt, baking powder and water in a mixing bowl; and when the flour looks crumbly, knead to a stiff dough, with water and keep aside for about 20 minutes, covered with a wet cloth, so that the dough doesn't dry out. Vegetable Manchurian is an Indo-Chinese recipe. It can be prepared in various ways. It can be served along with fried-rice or noodles. Pinwheel Chicken

Non-Veg Pinwheel chicken is perfect as lunch, after school snack or appetizer. They taste wonderful both cold and hot. The following serves 4 people Ingredients : Chicken breast – 500 gms Paneer – 150 gms Tomato – 4 medium Spinach leaves – 1 bunch Parsley leaves – 1 small bunch Coriander leaves - 1 small bunch Mixed herbs – 1tsp Black pepper – 1 tbsp Chat masala – 1 tsp Garlic – 4-5 cloves Onion – 2 medium Ginger paste – 1tbsp Green chili – 2-3 Salt – to taste Oil – 2 tbsp Tomato base : Heat oil in a pan, pour in crushed tomatoes and wait till water reduces. Add mixed herbs, black pepper, crushed garlic and salt to taste. Simmer till it reaches sauce like consistency and pour it out onto your serving plate as base. Spinach side dish : Heat oil in pan, add chopped garlic, onion, ginger and green chilli; sauté till light brown. Add spinach leaves and stir till dry. Add salt to taste.
